You may have a choice of two networks

  1. Preferred-Care Blue is our largest provider network. It offers Blue KC members the most extensive selection of providers within our 32-county service area.
  2. BlueSelect is a new, more limited provider network. BlueSelect is only sold in the 5-county Kansas City metropolitan area, which includes Clay, Jackson, and Platte counties in Missouri, and Johnson and Wyandotte counties in Kansas.

The network name is included in the product name

For example:

Blue & U First Select Bronze is the BlueSelect network
Blue & U First PCB Bronze is the Preferred Care Blue network

How to check to see if your healthcare provider is in the network

  1. Enter the healthcare provider name and select location
