Blue KC’s Find Care tool is your resource for finding in-network doctors, retail clinics, urgent care, and hospitals.

Know your local providers before you have an immediate need

As part of your 2025 priorities, create a quick list of in-network, neighborhood providers. Push the Find Care button above to get started, then put the list where you can access it easily, like on your refrigerator or phone.

We recommend including these care options on your list.

Virtual Care
For minor issues like a cold, flu, or pink eye, or for care at night, on the weekend, or when your doctor is not available.
Get care: Go to BlueKCVirtualCare.com or the MyBlueKC app and tap Virtual Care.

Retail Health Clinic 
For minor, uncomplicated illnesses or injuries or when you cannot wait for an appointment with your primary care doctor.
Find providers: Go to the Find Care page, search MinuteClinic or any retail health clinic, click Medical Specialties, then Clinic/Center.

Urgent Care 
For non-life-threatening injuries or illnesses that require immediate care, such as ear pain, persistent diarrhea, sprain, or a shallow cut. 
Find providers: Go to the Find Care page, click Urgent Care, then Medical Specialties, then Urgent Care Clinic/Center.

Emergency Room or Community Hospital 
For immediate care for severe and life-threatening emergencies. For less severe injuries or illnesses, the ER can be expensive and wait times can be long.
Find providers: Go to the Find Care page and search Emergency Medicine.

Primary Care 
The best option for annual preventive visits, diagnostics, chronic condition management, and sick care needs.

• For members enrolled in a Blue KC health plan that includes Spira Care, call 913-29-SPIRA (77472) to schedule an appointment at one of nine locations across the Kansas City metro area. Most Spira Care Centers offer same-day, next-day, Saturday, and evening appointments.
