It’s 2024 and fair to say that lives are still disrupted due to Covid. One place we see it clearly is in healthcare. People are behind on vaccines, well-child visits, and recommended screenings. As a country we’re playing a long game of catch up.
During National Immunization Awareness month in August, Blue KC picks sides with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in helping people get caught up on vaccines. They’re one of the best ways to protect against serious diseases and reduce medical costs associated with diseases.
