Kansas Citians can access community support services with Blue KC tool
Kansas City has a great big heart (the Parade of Hearts and iconic Charlie Hustle KC heart t-shirt are not coincidences). One way the city cares deeply for the community is through extensive free and reduced-cost support services.
Thanks to the Blue KC Community Support Tool, Kansas Citians can easily find those services in their neighborhoods. The tool compiles local support services into one directory searchable by ZIP code and service categories such as food, housing, transit, health, education, and more.
Everyone needs a little help sometimes
It can be difficult to ask for help, which can be a barrier to receiving assistance. With the Blue KC Community Support Tool, people can search for resources anonymously by ZIP code, category, keyword, program name, and organization name. The tool filters the results and populates the most relevant programs.
Community-based organizations in one directory
The Community Support Tool makes it easy to contact an organization. When you search, each resulting agency has a green button that says the best way to contact it. If a community-based program does not have direct referral capability, the green button will offer other ways to reach that program. A check mark in the top right corner of the agency card indicates the program listing is up to date.
Get started today to find the help you need. The Community Support tool is available to Blue KC members and all Kansas Citians at BlueKC.com/CommunitySupport.
