Blue KC, Kansas City Royals present documentary on youth sports and its emotional toll on kids
“Not Good Enough,” a documentary presented by the Kansas City Royals and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City (Blue KC), pulls back the curtain on youth sports and takes an emotional look at the toll it can have on kids. The documentary debuted October 9 in recognition of World Mental Health Day and as part of an ongoing effort to Shut Out the Stigma.
The 45-minute documentary prominently features Blue KC’s Dr. Greg Sweat, Dr. Rebecca Gernon, Kristin Gernon, and Dr. Raelene Knolla, along with local coaches, athletes, and parents.
