Flu vaccine time is here
The flu vaccine can take the flu from wild to mild. That’s the word from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), who recommends getting vaccinated in September or October.
The CDC encourages everyone six months and older to get the seasonal flu vaccine. Here at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City (Blue KC) we agree and especially encourage the vaccine for older adults and people with heart and lung disease.
