Your Blue KC coverage brings you healthcare choices that fit the way you live, and we’re here to help you navigate your healthcare experience and show you how to get the greatest benefits from your plan. Your 2024 Member Benefits Guide is now available. Please review the information thoroughly, and save it for easy access. You can always find your Member Benefits Guide on the Member Portal at MyBlueKC.com. Just click the dashboard at the top of the left column.
In addition to knowing how to access your Member Benefits Guide, it’s also important to know all the ways you can connect with Blue KC in 2024.
First, don’t forget to register on your member portal at MyBlueKC.com or on the MyBlueKC mobile app to take advantage of helpful tools and information.
Download the MyBlueKC mobile app
Once you’ve registered on MyBlueKC.com you can use the same email address and password to access the MyBlueKC mobile app. On the app you can:
- Meet with a virtual care provider
- Download or email your digital ID card
- Access benefit information about your plan
- View details about your claims
- Review spending for the current plan year
- Understand costs with a Cost Estimator
- Find doctors and specialists in your network
You can download the app by visiting the Apple App Store or Google Play from your mobile phone.

Opt in to text messaging from Blue KC
Texting has never been healthier. Opt in to receive text messages from Blue KC to get more out of your Blue KC coverage. You’ll receive messages related to your health and health plan such as:
- Health and wellness tips
- Suggestions on where to go for care
- Cost-saving tips
- Member-only offers
Opt in for Blue KC text message alerts by texting DIGITALBLUE to 62086. Spira Care members text LINKBLUEKC to 62082.
Register for Blue KC ACA Rewards
Earn up to $50 in rewards by completing your annual preventive visit and your Health Risk Assessment (HRA). For each that you complete, you will receive a $25 gift card to your choice of national retailers¹. Blue KC covers the preventive visit – and many other routine preventive services – at 100%.
Participation is easy
- Go to BlueKC.com/ACARewards. Register first if you have not done so.
- Complete your annual preventive visit and HRA by December 31, 20242, 3.
- Complete your HRA in the BlueKC.com/ACARewards portal.
- Once logged in, click Health Risk Assessment
- Answer a series of questions about your health and lifestyle
- If you don’t have time to answer every question, you have the option to save your progress and return later

2 Your preventive visit and HRA can take up to 90 days to reflect on the Blue KC ACA Rewards portal.
3 Gift card will be delivered via email within 24 hours of redeeming your rewards on the Blue KC ACA Rewards Portal.
