Security updates coming to Blue KC Agent Portal

In an ongoing effort to protect your information and data, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City (Blue KC) will launch additional security updates on the Agent Portal. The updates are targeted for mid-March and will include a required password reset.

  • Password reset: When you visit the Blue KC Agent Portal starting mid-March, you will not be able to log in with your current password and will need to set a new one. To reset your password, click Forgot your password? and follow the instructions. Then log in with your username and new password.
    • If you have multiple linked accounts and use one login to switch between them, you only need to reset the password for your main account.
    • If you have multiple accounts that are not linked, you will need to reset the password for each.
  • Six-digit verification code at log in: Upon log in, you will be asked to confirm your identity by entering the six-digit verification code that was emailed to you. You can choose how often you prefer to receive a verification code and if you want future verification codes sent via text or automated phone call.
