Jenny Housley

Jenny Housley is the Senior Vice President, Chief Revenue Officer at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City (Blue KC). In her current role, Jenny oversees the Government and Commercial sales teams, commercial product development and innovation, the commercial call center, customer experience and underwriting. Jenny is responsible for the retention of all customers, including labor and union groups. She also serves on the CEO’s Diversity Council.

Jenny has dedicated more than two decades of her career to the employee benefits consulting field. Prior to joining Blue KC, she held multiple leadership roles at Lockton Companies including Executive Vice President, Producer where she was responsible for new business acquisition and client retention. Jenny was heavily involved in guiding the overall strategic direction of her clients’ benefit programs. Jenny also served as a member of the company’s Kansas City Employee Benefits Executive Committee.

A respected leader in the industry, Jenny was recognized in the Kansas City Business Journal’s 2021 Class of Women Who Mean Business, by Ingram’s Magazine as a Women Executives-KC (WeKC) honoree in 2019 and as one of Business Insurance Magazine’s “Women to Watch” in 2009. Jenny is active in numerous civic and charitable organizations in the Kansas City community and currently serves as a board member of Starlight Theatre, Kansas City Area Development Council and its Executive Committee, and The Civic Council of Greater Kansas City and its KC Tomorrow leadership group. Jenny was in the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce Centurions leadership program, Class of 2007.

Jenny earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from the University of Kansas. She is a Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) and achieved certification by Forrester as a CX Champion in 2020.
